On 17th February seminar “Biotechonomy. Natural resources and options for their use”

On 17th February 2016 Institute of Energy Systems and Environment in corporation with Sustainable Development Committee of The Latvian Parliament are organizing seminar “Biotechonomy. Natural resources and options for their use”.

During the seminar an overview about biotechonomy development opportunities in Latvia and its economic and technological aspects. Insight in use options of bio-energy resources in Latvia, the rational use of bio-resources in order to obtain products with high added value, as well as bio-resource residuals recycling ideas.

Conference “The best climate technology projects from Switzerland and Latvia”. Exhibition “Watt d’Or” opening.

On February 2, IESE in collaboration with the Swiss Embassy organizes the conference – “The best climate technology projects from Switzerland and Latvia “. The conference will look at innovative solutions in the production of syngas, solar fuel production from H2O and CO2, energy saving opportunities in shower systems – “Jouli” and biotechonomy approach.

Each year, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy awards the prestigious prize “Watt d’Or” for the most innovative energy initiatives in Switzerland. This exhibition is implemented in the new Swiss energy policy, and will be on display in different places of the world.
